E. Christopher Caravette

SQ-CaravetteBorn in Norfolk, Virginia, Christopher Caravette earned his bachelor of arts degree in June of 1982 from Dartmouth College, and his doctor of jurisprudence degree in May of 1985 from DePaul University College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Florida, having been admitted to the Bar of the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1985 and the Bar of the State of Florida in 2004.

Prior to establishing Caravette & Associates, P.C., Christopher was an associate with a large Chicago firm where he was responsible for fidelity, financial institution, and surety bond litigation, as well as real estate and business matters.

Christopher is a member of the Adjunct Faculty of DePaul University College of Law and The John Marshall Law School, both located in Chicago, where he has taught courses in Agency & Partnership Law and AIDS and the Law. He has guest lectured, among other places, at the University of Arkansas Law School and at the annual meetings of the National Notary Association.

Christopher has served as the Vice Chairman of the Senior’s Law Committee of the American Bar Association, and has held various positions, including Assistant Editor of the CBA Record, with the Chicago Bar Association. He is also a member of the Florida Bar.
